"Little Shop of Horrors" is a dark comedy rock musical with music by Alan Menken and lyrics/book by Howard Ashman. It’s based on a 1960 low-budget horror film of the same name. As the plant, Audrey II, grows, it brings Seymour fame, love, and fortune—but at a deadly cost. The more it feeds, the more dangerous it becomes, eventually threatening to take over the world.
