We’re delighted to return with our One Act Plays for our third year 🌟 we can’t wait to showcase a variety of short plays and monologues full of humour, heart and entertainment, performed by our talented members 🎭

Huge congrats to our newly married member Ríona & her husband Jason on their recent wedding celebrations ✨

We've no doubt that the the dance floor was never empty and the room was full of quick witted humour, laughter and love 🩷

What a beautiful bride Ríona was, although we feel she's missing a few iconic previous costume pieces to complete her look (mainly her chefs hat from Big Fish 👩‍🍳)

To our amazing crew, production team, committee, tech wizards, musicians, costume & makeup team, set builders, and everyone behind the scenes—this show wouldn’t exist without your dedication and magic. You brought this world to life one cue, stitch, and spotlight at a time.

And to our phenomenal cast: thank you for your heart, your talent, and the joy you brought to every rehearsal and performance. You poured everything into this production, and it showed in every moment on stage.

With her brilliant vision and passion for storytelling, Niamh is leading our cast and crew through the delightfully dark world of the Addams family.

🎵 Musical Director – Dermot O’Callaghan

Dermot is the heartbeat of the production, guiding our talented performers through the show’s spine-tingling harmonies and toe-tapping tunes.

💃 Choreographer – Lauren Dooley

Lauren’s dynamic choreography brings energy and style to every scene. From eerie elegance to wild and wacky movement, she’s making sure our cast dances their way into your hearts (and maybe your nightmares 👀).

Our 2026 Production is...

HXT are proud to announce our 2026 production, The Wedding Singer!

The Wedding Singer musical is a lively, feel-good romantic comedy based on the hit 1998 film starring Adam Sandler. Set in the neon-soaked 1980s, it follows Robbie Hart, a wedding singer who gets his heart broken and must rediscover love—with the help of the kind-hearted Julia.

Featuring an energetic score by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin, the musical blends big hair, catchy pop-inspired songs, and plenty of humor. It’s a nostalgic, high-energy show about heartbreak, friendship, and finding the courage to move on.

We can't wait for you to join us in The Civic this November for some classic 80's nostalgia!
